Seeing the world is addictive, and we like to do it “No holds barred” (or in our case, No Holds Bardon).
In the winter of 2013, we embarked on our first trip as a couple: Thailand and Bali for three weeks. For Robin, this was second nature since he previously lived in Japan and knew his way around Southeast Asia. For Sandra, this was major, life-altering culture shock (read: finding a cockroach on her toothbrush in the middle of the night while staying at a cheap bungalow in Koh Phangan). Nevertheless, we were hooked–on travel and on each other.
Since then, we have explored four continents and nine countries. After our incredible trip to Portugal during the summer of 2016 (read: GO TO PORTUGAL!), we knew that we wanted to start documenting our journeys.
Our travels are a mixture of high-end luxury and modest accommodations, seasoned with a heavy dose of adventure. All of our opinions and reviews are our genuine and honest thoughts. Please feel free to ask us questions about our itineraries, lodging, meals, or anything else!
We hail from arguably the best (and definitely the most expensive) city in the world, Vancouver, in Canada. Robin is a real estate agent and Sandra is a high school English teacher and yoga instructor. On average, we take two large trips per year, and three to five smaller vacations.
